Introducing Classroom-2-Boardroom
Going from Zero to One as a Student Founder
Hi friends, 👋🏾
Happy Tuesday! ✨
First, big s/o to everyone for reading “Follow Your Money”.
This is not the end of “FYM” in fact, FYM is now an ebook you can read in 20 minutes/30 pages— I don’t know about you but I’d read that given that my Eco textbook is 300+ pages and it doesn’t mention “Debit Scoring”. You can access it here.
That said…
Welcome to Classroom-2-Boardroom (C2B)
I know what you’re thinking. What in this world is “Classroom-2-Boardroom”?
Say less, my friend.
👉🏾 C2B is an invitation to an experience we can’t avoid in our everyday lives- going from zero to one. 👌🏾
Classroom-2-Boardroom chronicles my learning experiences, failures, and success points as a student-founder as well as tools and resources that helped me go from zero to one.
Every week, we’ll dive into a specific area of going from zero to one—from guided secrets of ideation to the open secrets of community.
Just last week at Buildspace, I learned that the longer you stay at zero, the harder it takes to reach one. 🔥🚀
But how do we overcome the comfort and discomfort of zero? 🙅🏾♂️
Cause until you’re uncomfortable with being uncomfortable, you’ll remain uncomfortable. 🤦🏾♂️
For many of you reading this today, my hope is that C2B will answer questions like:
🎯 How do we position ourselves to value progress and undervalue perfection? ☹️
🎯 How do we learn to let go, to give up on what’s not working? 🙂
🎯 How do you follow your heart vs follow your head?
🎯How do you commit yourself to doing odd things, despite the odds against you? 🤒
Although Classroom-2-Boardroom (C2B) will draw inspiration from my entrepreneurial journey as a student, my hope is that the lessons will be applicable to anyone 🤌🏾 - as long as you’re ready and willing to go from zero to one, do odd things, and follow your heart. ❤️
🎯 Remember, my friends: The universe has placed a demand on you to discover the light you carry— and as you discover the light you carry, you unconsciously give YOURSELF the permission to shine your light, and then as you let your light shine, you unconsciously give others the permission to do the same. ✨🔥
Quote of the week
The longer you stay at zero, the harder it becomes to reach one.

Stay tuned for the next Issue of C2B next week. 🚀🔥💯
Until next time,
